From Kotobukiya's Arcanadea series comes Velretta First Engage Ver., a redesigned version of the demon-type Dears created with easier assembly and visual appeal in mind.

The First Engage Ver. simplifies the original Velretta kit to focus on her Normal Mode, making it an approachable entry point for newcomers while incorporating numerous updates that existing Arcanadea fans can appreciate. Two pre-painted face parts are included with eye designs inspired by Velretta's anime appearance, while the waist and other details have also been updated to reflect the anime design.

Numerous parts have been redesigned for improved appearance and assembly. The bangs are now molded as a single piece to eliminate visible seam lines, while the shin parts use a front-and-back split that helps conceal the separation line when viewed from the front. Her newly sculpted skirt creates a refreshed silhouette, and updated ankle wings provide improved stability.

Articulation has also been enhanced with double-jointed elbows on the included sleeveless arms. Newly sculpted wings feature 3mm ball-joint connections for flexible positioning, while the redesigned tail allows for more expressive poses.

The kit includes five pairs of interchangeable PVC hands, a dedicated lance weapon, and a display stand. Velretta can also be displayed in Wilize Mode by combining this kit with compatible arm and leg parts from the standard Velretta model kit.
